About Custom Floors and More

In 1993, Julie was a Gold-level Sherwin Williams territory sales manager, after welcoming her first son, she and her husband Doug decided to take a leap of faith to open their own flooring store after not having any flexibility in the corporate sector. With encouragement from previous clientele, friends and family, on May 20th, 1993, they opened Custom Floors & More out of their home in Swansea, Illinois. It was full steam ahead, six months after opening, Doug was able to leave his corporate job and join Julie full time. Many years of trials and withstanding cultural and economic changes, Custom Floors & More has continued to grow while maintaining the commitment and service it was founded on. 32 years of hard work and dedication and now one of the most reputable flooring stores in the St. Louis Metro area, their legacy continues. We are thankful to God for all of his blessings and opportunities he's showed us with over the years!
